It might be your high level or your high speech that made your charisma raise. Otherwise beats me. We didnt implement nothing like that. If thats the case than you discovered a new feature in fallout engine.

But damn man beating that high char is gonna be tough. I was so busy answering tons of questions on tons of forums that i only reached level 9 so far. But i do have an oversub gun.

I can kill that cyborg easy now, but the upgrade to hardend powered armour, anvanced ext, seems a little to over the top to me. So I will never need to upgrade, and My carrier as a merc has changed to a miner, 3 more years and its game over. Do now its do or die time. No more mineing, I have enough steal saved up to last me the rest of the game so now its just leveling, I'll post my level when time runs out.

Isn't there a save editor that can set the date of the game, or is the date hardcoded?

Date is hard coded. And 13 years is just enough for each char to be played in this mod. See it as your char dies of the hard life in wastes. And try to achive as high level as posible.

Yea should be. Well best way to get all info about your char in to this thread is if you take a screenshot by pressing f12 and than fidning the bmp file inside your fallout 2 folder. Than you dont have to tab down game. You can see all his stats right of the screenshot.

yeah, it is in fo1, but it appeared on my perk list, so i picked it, rats, wolves/dogs, geckos, and some other things now have a green outline when i encounter them. I would very much like to know why that appeared.

Most of these are taken from minusing the ammount of certina units on maps, I only actualy recorded killing the cyborg. The rest were derived from the kills sheet.

Thats nasty man. Now quit playing till the patch is out. Than your char will be able to rach level 99. Cause at level 40+ you will be able to travel to all location and never leave to the worldmap. Meaning you can play beyonod 13 years that way.

Hehe, as I stated in another thread but want to point out here: I took the pathfinder perk to try to beat Mike! I have about 4 years left. If everything goes well... Heck, I might even take that perk that increases science and repair. A very useful combo considering the points needed to reach 200. Though, I'll probably take that later when the point requirements for a % are much higher. I could put more into another useful skill.

But damn it's hard to get repair and science so high. I wish I'd started with them earlier. Still, I want to give beating him my best shot since I wrote a guide - it would really give it credit

hey i noticed on the screen shot of mike that he had unusually high demage thresholds. His power armor had 17, while normally it has 12. The Black Market only upgrades you damage resistances, but not threshlods.

Normal got the oversub from a guard at the airport, after I blew him up with a glowball. Normal has been radiated ever since I first started the game. Normal started out at age 21.

the dt, hrmmm, as far as I could tell, its prolly the same bug that made my chrisma go to 7, I had a wierd one where the script for barkus treating you like an idiot and trying to sell you into slavery in vault city, it crashed my game of course.

Found where it was changed, I looked through my old save games, it happend between levels 19-22. somewhere between the radiated mine, blackmarket, and raiders base. I dunno how, so im going to do all the things i did before and check them.
