Hi, I see that someone just made small cooking patch for WM2. I want to say I made small patch for WM2 too, you can download this file from stuff section from my small website.
The name is:
FO2: Wasteland Merc 2 - patch 1.0
Short description of changes (from readme.txt):

- Some more trouble random encounters will show at higher PC level. The begining of the game will be a bit easier now.
- Enabled some random encounter for RED_Trappers at PC level>8
- Increased chance of random encounters on faster computers
- changes to dude_obj script:
> If you examine dude then depend on your Doctor and Science skill you can see poison and radiation level.
> By hitting the enemies without of done damage to them you can gain some small expirience points. Sometimes you can gain EXTRA experience points.
- You can loot dead bodies of enemies now. Any equipment will stay in their inventory.
- You can gain a small points of expirience if cooking is successfull.
- Cooking is easier a bit now.

example: if Steal skill=27% then chance for looting is 9%
if Steal skill=93% then chance for looting is 31%
if Steal skill=100% then chance for looting is 33%
if Steal skill=300% then chance for looting is 100%
- included Macros "Faster Cooking patch v1.0", see Fast Cooking v1.rtf

I changed !owen.int, so our patches are not compatible :(

| Well i stickied his mod to. I mean some people might be more anoyed that enemies dont drop loot than by cooking not being automated. It all depends if your in to all that crafting system thing or not. |

What do you think, depending on what stat or skill looting should have a percentage of dropping items?
I think about skill outdoorsman:
0-50 == 10% chance of drop
51-100 == 15 % chance of drop
101-150 == 20 % chance of drop
>150 == 33% chance of drop
this will be chance that killed dude will drops all items.

Im not entirely sure if the looting thing is so good. I mean, this will make you super rich right away. You wont have to craft ammo. Hell, looting the containers will be almost pointless too.

OK, you are right. I will fix looting, and it will be depended by steal skill. Than you will not be rich to fast.
BTW: I will lock the file to prevent the downloading for few days until I will make fixes to looting items.

Ok, I unlock the file, and when i make fixed looting then this will be update to the patch, this will best.

I installed cubik's patch, but without overriding the !owen file. I can still cook really fast, and get all the other features of cubik's patch.
The steal thing is brilliant, but make sure that people can't save and load to get better results, like in the case of what get from lockers in areas.
